That program change was effective September 1, 2024.
In January 2025, we were informed by Gas Innovations that Kobelco Welding objected to IWDC’s involvement in offering Kobelco products as part of Gas Innovations Member program through IWDC. After a follow-up meeting with Gas Innovations in February 2025, they confirmed that Kobelco Welding products are not part of our program, reversing the decision to add those products through our centralized invoicing process and removing them from the rebate program. Any Member spend that occurred from September 1, 2024 onwards involving Kobelco products will not receive 0.5% rebate, reversing what was previously communicated on August 22, 2024.
Everything else communicated on August 22, 2024, remains intact.
