Volume: The IWDC and its Members represent $4.2 billion in retail sales in North America. We also represent the largest group of independently owned companies in the gas & welding supply channel. We have over 140 Member companies in over 850 locations, including centralized wholesale operations in Indianapolis, IN, and Sparks, NV.
Payment & Invoice Efficiencies: The IWDC is a centralized invoicing company for our Members' purchases (excluding capital equipment). In other words, all our Members' purchases from Approved Vendors like you are invoiced to the IWDC. The IWDC pays all our Members' invoices within the negotiated payment terms. Immediately, Approved Vendors offer an open line of credit to more than 140 companies.
The IWDC can receive invoices via EDI, email, or U.S. mail, all bundled together. Approved Vendors receive payments every week and on time. All credits are sent through the IWDC as well. This results in substantially lower transaction costs for our Vendors.
Trust: By extending open credit, the IWDC processes invoices and credits promptly, creating a level of trust that's unprecedented in our industries.
Approved Vendor Exclusives: Approved Vendors are invited to the annual Sales & Purchasing Convention. They can display their products, highlight their new products, show 30-second commercials, network with the decision-makers, and receive purchase orders. Over $20 million of sales transactions typically occur at the Sales & Purchasing Convention. The IWDC Member-exclusive newsletter, "The Chronicles," is open to receiving news from your organization and any exclusive promotions for IWDC Members.
