Improve Your Bottom Line

The IWDC gives Members an opportunity to compete on a level playing field with the big national chains – and potentially score a competitive advantage over them in the marketplace. When you join us, you'll see that our goal, overall, is to improve your bottom line. We look to accomplish this through various channels.

  1. Vendor Agreements that cover:
    1. product pricing
    2. payment terms
    3. rebates
    4. marketing allowances
  2. The IWDC Distribution Centers, which offers more than 2,500 SKUs of high-moving retail products that generate profits for Members through annual patronage dividends
  3. Our proprietary Weldmark® and PurityPlus® brands, whose exclusivity ensures Members of repeat business from end users (Weldmark products have higher gross margin percentages than competitive products.)
  4. Direct sourcing, which allows our Members to purchase standard products like tungsten and soapstone at reduced prices
  5. Expense Control Agreements that help reduce your back-office and operational costs
  6. Annual IWDC patronage dividends, by which all net profits the IWDC generates are paid back to our Members proportionally, according to their participation
  7. Annual Financial & Operational Benchmarking survey that shines the light on business improvement opportunities.
