On June 30th, Holston Gases completed the acquisition of Chilton Propane Gas Company, which is headquartered in Clanton, Alabama. Holston Gases will continue to service these customers from the Chilton location at 1434 Enterprise Road.
Holston Gases President Joe Baxter said, "We are very pleased to add the over 4,000 propane customers of Chilton Propane to those of Holston Gases. Chilton Propane has been servicing Clanton county and surrounding areas for over 47 years. They have a great reputation and loyal customers that we are excited to bring into the Holston family."
Mike Elder, owner of Chilton Propane, agreed that the consolidation of the two companies' resources in central Alabama will bring added value to the Chilton Propane customers.
