Beaumont, Texas September 23, 2015 -  Members of the 100 Club of Southeast Texas, along with Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames, Beaumont Fire and Rescue Chief Anne Huff and Beaumont Police Chief Jimmy Singletary, were presented a check for a $5,000 Lifetime Membership to the 100 Club by Coastal Welding Supply at their corporate office in Beaumont in September.

Representatives from all Coastal Welding Supply’s eight locations, in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, were also in attendance.

Coastal Welding Supply, a second generation company led by President J.C. “Chuck” Mazoch has long been a supporter of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana Law Enforcement and Fire and Emergency departments. The company also gave $1,500 to The 100 Club of Houston for a Lifetime Membership.

“The recent and tragic loss of Deputy Sheriff Darren H. Goforth of the Harris County, Texas Sheriff's Office and Senior Trooper Steven Vincent of the Louisiana State Police closely brings home the importance of giving back to those who have given their lives in service to each one of us, “ said Mazoch. “Supporting their families, financially and with our prayers, is something I encourage others to do in our communities; giving back to those who gave their all.”

The 100 Club of SETX Mission: When tragedy strikes, the effects are devastating, and all too often, it strikes in the form of a death of a law enforcement officer or firefighter. The 100 Club of Southeast Texas provides an immediate response to the needs of their family; in terms of both emotional and financial support. Representatives of the club visit with family members within 48 hours of a tragedy; providing up to $50,000 to the surviving spouse and dependent children of the fallen First Responder.
