Haun Welding Supply, of Syracuse, N.Y., has received state approval to begin offering an apprenticeship related classroom program.The New York State Education Department approved the program at a time when the American Welding Society reports more than 370,000 jobs in the welding field will become available in the next decade.“Welding is definitely a growing job market, and this program is something the state is using to fill those gaps,” says Joshua Haun, director of operations and marketing at Haun Welding Supply.
