May 30, 2020 marked NASA’s return to manned
space flight after almost a decade, as SpaceX successfully launched astronauts
aboard the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon crew capsule from US soil.
Holston Gases’ locations in Huntsville, AL and Decatur,
AL are very proud to have played a minor role in this historic event. As the
chosen vendor for two SpaceX suppliers, they supplied various bulk and high-pressure
gases and equipment used to manufacture fuel cell and engine components of the
Falcon 9 rocket.
