Dear Valued Customer,

I am writing to share some very exciting news. Today, we announced that we have agreed to acquire Honeywell’s Personal Protective Equipment Business (“PPE Business”), including its leading brands Fendall, Fibre-Metal, Howard Leight, KCL, Miller, Morning Pride, North, Oliver, Salisbury, UVEX, and others. The news release we issued can be found here.

As many of you know, the Honeywell PPE Business owns some of the most well-recognized PPE brands in the world along with a broad range of products and solutions. Over the 40-year history of PIP, our passion has always been to continue to bring the best brands and products to you. We believe this acquisition is highly complementary with PIP’s current portfolio and the combination allows us to offer you more opportunities for growth and provide you with more PPE solutions that meet your needs.

We have studied this business closely and are excited about our shared opportunities. As part of PIP, we believe the PPE Business will benefit from our dedicated focus on PPE and humble passion for listening to and serving our customers. We are committed to supporting and building these brands with the marketing, sales and service support that you can rely upon. We look forward to speaking with you to hear your thoughts about how we can continue working together to achieve your growth goals.

While we are eager to begin, today’s announcement is only the first step in the process. There is a great deal of planning necessary to ensure a successful transition as well as certain regulatory approvals required before we complete the transaction, which we expect to occur in the coming months. We will provide you with updates regarding closing and what you can expect going forward as appropriate.

In the meantime, it is business as usual and there will be no changes to the products and services we provide right now. In addition, the PIP team that supports you, including our dedicated employees and agent representatives, will continue to service all your PPE needs. We remain committed to earning your trust and working to add more value every day. Should you have any questions, please reach out to me or your existing PIP contact.

Thank you for your continued support of PIP. We greatly value our relationship and will continue working tirelessly build our business together.
